health rewards

Take care of your health and improve your health habits as you earn points towards health rewards. Health rewards are Chevron’s way of recognizing your personal commitment to get and stay healthy when you participate in wellness activities. This website provides information about the current health rewards and Wellness Credit offering, who’s eligible to participate, and information about qualifying activities. It’s your choice to participate in health rewards or not.

  • With health rewards, you can complete qualifying wellness activities to accumulate points. If you accumulate the required points by the deadline and meet all the program eligibility requirements, you can qualify for the Wellness Credit
  • U.S.-payroll employees who are eligible for Chevron’s health plans can participate in health rewards and qualify for the Wellness Credit.
  • Health rewards, the Wellness Credit, and the requirements to qualify may change from year to year. Each year, be sure to read the complete eligibility and participation rules, included on this website, to understand the current Wellness Credit offering and what’s required to qualify.
  • Be sure to allow plenty of time to accumulate the required points before the deadline; many activities require extended participation to complete. Partial points will not qualify for the Wellness Credit.

step 1: create a webmd healthy you account
If you're eligible to participate in health rewards, you'll manage your wellness activity completion and points from WebMD Healthy You website, under Rewards. If you don’t already have a WebMD Healthy You account, follow our instructions to create one.*

*Note: Healthy Heart is now Healthy You. If you participated in health rewards in past years, you'll continue to use your same WebMD account, now referred to as the WebMD Healthy You website. You do not need to create a new account.

step 2: complete activities to earn points
You earn points toward the current health reward each time you complete a qualifying wellness event or activity. Many of the activities require advance scheduling and time to complete, so be sure to allow plenty of time to accumulate the required points before the current deadline. Points do not roll over from year to year, and partial points do not qualify for the health reward. You can review a list of current activities here or review your WebMD Healthy You account under Rewards.

step 3: record completion, monitor points
Each time you complete a qualifying wellness event or activity, you must return to the Rewards page on your WebMD Healthy You account to record completion. Remember, all activities must be completed and reported before the current deadline to qualify for the current health reward. If you do not complete all of the requirements by the deadline, including reporting completed activities, you will not qualify for the Wellness Credit. You can monitor your points status from your WebMD Healthy You account.

step 4: get ready for your wellness credit
When you complete your 1,000 points, save the confirmation number from your Rewards page on the WebMD Healthy You website for future reference. If you complete your points prior to October 28, 2022, you don’t need to do anything to report completion. At the end of this year, after the points deadline has closed, WebMD will verify with the HR Service Center that you qualified for the 2023 Wellness Credit. At that time your coverage on BenefitConnect will be updated and you will receive further confirmation that you qualified for the reduced medical premiums in 2023. Your premium reduction applies to coverage effective January 1, 2023. Learn more about 2023 Wellness Credit rules and eligibility information.
